This Week’s Top Track: (!!!) Chk Chk Chk

(!!!), which is usually pronounced as Chk Chk Chk, formed in 1996 and are a dance-punk band. Their name was inspired by the subtitles of the film The Gods Must Be Crazy, as the clicking sounds of the Bushmens’ Khoisan language was represented with an exclamation mark.  Originally hailing from Sacramento, California, the band was originally founded by vocalist Nic Offer, while the other members come from bands in the local area, including The Yah Mos, Black Liquorice, and Popesmashers. To date, Chk Chk Chk have released five albums, the latest being ‘THR!!!ER’.
